1. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 3, 4, 5 and 6 in private. 2. Instruments not subject to any parliamentary procedure: The Committee will consider the following— Victims, Witnesses, and Justice Reform (Scotland) Act 2025 (Commencement No. 2 and Saving Provisions) Regulations 2026 (SSI 2026/120 (C.12)) Vulnerable Witnesses (Criminal Evidence) (Scotland) Act 2019 (Commencement No. 3 and Transitional Provision) Regulations 2026 (SSI 2026/136 (C.17)) His Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Education in Scotland (Appointment) Order 2026 (SSI 2026/138) 3. Quarterly report: The Committee will consider a draft report for the parliamentary quarter from 27 January to 24 March 2026. 4. Annual report: The Committee will consider a draft annual report for the parliamentary year from 13 May 2025 to 8 April 2026. 5. Statutory Instrument protocol update: The Committee will consider an update in relation to notification to the Scottish Parliament of UK Government Statutory Instruments which make provision in devolved areas. 6. Legacy report: The Committee will consider a draft legacy report.
